Growing Cinnamon | Cinnamon Cultivation
This is one of my cinnamon gardens here in Sri Lanka. I have two cinnamon gardens. Here I have cultivated/planted about 1000 of Ceylon Cinnamon plants in October 2017. There are two main types of cinnamon 1) Ceylon Cinnamon 2) Cassia Cinnamon Ceylon Cinnamoncannot originate from elsewhere in the world. Another key difference between the two is found in the taste. Cassia Cinnamon tastes stronger and hotter while Ceylon Cinnamonis full of lighter, brighter citreous tones. Ceylon Cinnamon also known as true cinnamon. Cinnamon is made by cutting the stems of cinnamon trees. The inner bark is then extracted and the woody parts removed.
