Daf Yomi Talmud Pesachim Gemarrah Passover page 38 Rabbi Weisblum דף יומי תלמוד גמרא פסחים פסח ל"ח
Pesahim is the third tractate of Seder Moed of the Mishnah and of the Talmud. It is concerned mainly with the laws of the Jewish holiday Passover as well as the Passover lamb offering. The first four chapters cover the laws of chametz, chapters 5-9 discuss the laws of the Passover lamb offering, and the tenth and final chapter discusses the order of the Passover seder, as well as the law of pairs. Pesachim tractate name is plural and Passover is singular. The reasons for this: Two Treatise deals with the laws of Passover holidays - Pesach Rishon and Pesach Sheni. Also, First Tractate included laws relating to Pesach's offering (Chapters 1-5) are relevant for the Temple in Jerusalem, while the Second Tractate is about trade laws Passover chametz and relevant even after the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem.
